In 2021, Leaseweb started operations in Japan as a geographically strategic location for Leaseweb’s global data center footprint. The expansion marks the latest step in delivering Leaseweb’s next-generation cloud infrastructure solutions through the Asia Pacific region.

In 2021, Leaseweb started operations in Japan providing seamless infrastructure solutions on a global basis. This additional location strengthens Leaseweb’s offering - to provide seamless infrastructure solutions on a global basis, giving our customers a solid gateway for growth in the Asia Pacific region.

Leveraging 25+ years of experience in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and as a Cloud Service Provider (CSP), our local dedicated team’s mandate is to provide world-class IT Infrastructure and Cloud Services, hosted from the state of the art, high-security, Tokyo data center.

Leaseweb established Leaseweb Asia Pacific in Singapore over 10 years ago. It has been offering on-demand bare metal servers from the beginning, and with the accelerated demand for cloud infrastructure in Asia, Leaseweb established Leaseweb Hong Kong, Leaseweb Australia, and Leaseweb Japan and has expanded to offer a full suite of Cloud-based infrastructure solutions from a total of 9 data center locations across the region. In recognition that each country in the region is unique, we have re-branded Leaseweb Asia Pacific into Leaseweb Singapore upon its 10th anniversary in 2023.

John DuleyManaging Director Japan

I am John Duley, Managing Director at Leaseweb Japan. I am responsible for expanding Leaseweb’s presence in the Japanese market. I joined Leaseweb in 2024 and brought 36 years of experience in growing businesses in the IT, Internet, Cloud, and Cyber Security industries with me.

Before joining Leaseweb, I worked at companies such as Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Dell, Level 3, and WithSecure. I held management positions responsible for both Japan and the Asia Pacific region.

I have a degree in Economics from Willamette University, with a minor in Japanese. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and friends, exercise, and play golf.

Yuon On YipOperations Director - Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan & Australia

I am Yuon On Yip, Operations Director based in Singapore with responsibilities to oversee the smooth operations of the data centres in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and Australia. Our team aims to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction and support our business growth in Asia Pacific.

Before joining Leaseweb, I was the Operations Director for Dell Financial Services covering Greater China, South East Asia and India. My hobbies include body weight workouts, PS5 gaming and Netflix.
