Managing Director, Leaseweb Japan & Hong Kong
Leaseweb is seeking an exceptional leader to build our local presence in Tokyo and Hong Kong as the Managing Director. You will be responsible for growing the customer base across different segments and vertical industries, establishing successful strategic partnerships, and setting up a well-functioning team. Reporting to the CEO, you will provide market insights and strategic advice for the region, and you will be located in Tokyo.
Your Responsibilities:
- Build a well-functioning organization by hiring the first local employees and providing motivational leadership to the local team.
- Develop and implement a business plan and sales strategy in the region aligned with the global strategy.
- Take hands-on responsibility for driving sales growth in the region.
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end business, including data center operations.
- Develop business plans, annual sales forecasts, and sales & marketing strategy; contribute to achieving P&L objectives within an agreed budget structure.
- Have full P&L responsibility for Leaseweb Japan & Hong Kong.
- Maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Your Profile:
- You are a driven and charismatic leader with excellent people management skills.
- You have a successful sales leadership track record in an enterprise technology environment, selling both directly and through a partner network. Experience in full P&L ownership would be advantageous.
- You have held responsibility for commercial matters, preferably with experience gained in a SaaS and/or Managed Infrastructure Services company.
- You have an extensive network within System Integrators and/or SaaS. Understanding of the cloud infrastructure business is advantageous.
- You have demonstrated success in driving a go-to-market strategy.
- You have experience in managing customer relationships across multiple countries in Asia.
